Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Attorney

Dr. Gene Cullan is an experienced trial attorney with advanced medical education in human anatomy and advanced training in accident reconstruction. Dr. Cullan dedicates his practice to helping individuals who have been seriously injured due to personal injury and medical malpractice. Dr. Cullan has a special emphasis in semi-truck accident cases, as well as serious car accident cases. Dr. Cullan serves part time as a Judge Pro Tem in the Superior Court of Maricopa County.

Medical Education

Dr. Gene Cullan initially earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Nebraska in 1975 and was on the dean’s list. He then obtained his Masters degree (1978) and his Doctoral degree (1980), both in Anatomy, from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. While pursuing his medical education, Dr. Cullan was the recipient of Regents tuition scholarships in 1977, 1978, 1979, and 1980. After graduating from the University of Nebraska Medical School, Dr. Cullan worked as a member of the medical faculty in the school’s departments of Anatomy, Physiology, and Biophysics. In l985 he left this position to pursue a law degree.

Law School

Dr. Gene Cullan graduated from Creighton University School of Law in 1987. Following law school, Dr. Cullan was selected to Clerk for the Honorable Donald E. O’Brien, Chief Judge, United States District Court Northern District of Iowa. Dr. Cullan served Judge O’Brien for two years before beginning private practice in 1990 at The Law Offices of Samuel K. Cullan, M.D., J.D. and Associates.

Advanced Training in Accident Reconstruction

Dr. Gene Cullan firmly believes in the value of continuing scientific and legal education. He has completed additional advanced education and training that is offered to Police Crash Units and Engineers in accident reconstruction. This education includes Advanced Collision Reconstruction, Advanced Collision Investigation, Commercial Vehicle Inspection, and Commercial Vehicle Collision Investigation. Dr. Cullan’s practice has a special emphasis in semi-truck wrecks and serious car crashes.

Dr. Gene Cullan is a member of a number of distinguished legal organizations including the American Trial Lawyers Association, Arizona Bar Association, Arizona Trial Lawyers Association, Missouri Bar Association, Missouri Trial Lawyers Association, Nebraska Bar Association, Iowa Bar Association, and Maricopa County Bar Association.
